BALLET IN THE FROST 2027 - WHEN ICE TURNS INTO ART

In February 2027, the unique figure skating show BALLET IN THE FROST 27 will come to Slovakia, offering audiences an unforgettable experience full of elegance, emotion, world-class athletic performances, and the artistic beauty of movement on the ice. We cordially invite all figure skating enthusiasts, as well as fans of aesthetic movement, dance, music, and the art of sports, to an exclusive gala show that will take place in Košice, Poprad, Žilina, and Bratislava.

Some of today’s most prominent figure skaters will take to the ice together—Olympic medalists, World and European Championship medalists, winners of prestigious international competitions, and national champions. Audiences can look forward to performances by world-class stars:

• ILIA MALININ – three-time world champion, Olympic team event gold medalist (2026), four-time U.S. champion, and the first figure skater in history to successfully land a quadruple Axel in competition.
• MIKHAIL SHAIDOROV – 2026 Olympic champion, Kazakhstan’s first-ever Olympic champion in figure skating, ISU Grand Prix medalist, and one of the world’s top male skaters.
• NIKITA VOLODIN & MINERVA FABIENNE HASE – 2026 World Champions, bronze medalists at the 2026 Winter Olympics, European Champions, and multiple Grand Prix Series medalists.
• NIKA EGADZE – 2026 European Champion, multiple Georgian champion, participant in the Olympic Games and World Championships.
• LUKAS BRITSCHGI – 2025 European Champion, multiple Swiss champion, participant in the Olympic Games and World Championships.
• SOFIA VAL & ASAF KAZIMOV 2026 Olympians • 2025 Winter Universiade Champions • Members of the Spanish National Team • Competitors at the European and World Championships
• GEORGII RESCHTENKO – multiple Czech Republic champion, competitor at the European and World Championships.
• KIMMY REPOND – Bronze medalist at the 2023 European Championships, multiple Swiss champion, participant in the Olympic Games and World Championships.
• FILIP TASCHLER & NATÁLIA TASCHLEROVÁ – Two-time Olympians (2022, 2026), multiple Czech Republic champions, World Championship finalists, a leading dance couple in world figure skating
• OLÍVIA LENGYELOVÁ – Slovak national team member, multiple Slovak champion, competitor at the European and World Championships.
• MARIA PAVLOVA & ALEXEI SVIATCHENKO – Hungarian national team members, competitors at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships, multiple national champions.
• IVAN RIGINI – Italian champion, participant in the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships; after retiring, he became an internationally recognized choreographer and program designer for the world’s top skaters.

Olívia Lengyelová, a great talent of the up-and-coming generation, will proudly represent Slovakia.
Each performance will be a unique blend of elite sport, music, choreography, emotion, and precise technique. Visitors will witness exceptional jumps, challenging spins, pair lifts, and fascinating dance choreography, all of which prove that figure skating is among the most beautiful sports in the world.
