One of the most popular American musicals on ice, “The Wizard of Oz,” is coming to Slovakia. The legendary story, inspired by the 125-year-old book by L. F. Baum, comes to life in a breathtaking adaptation full of music, emotions, and visual effects. Get ready for an unforgettable journey into a magical world, where you will meet Dorothy and her faithful dog Toto, the brave Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and the mysterious Wizard. This time, however, they all come to life directly on the ice.

“The Wizard of Oz” is a magnificent musical production, in which a large creative team participated – choreographers, set designers, costume designers, composers, and lighting and special effects experts. Every detail, from the set design to the musical accompaniment, creates a magical atmosphere that will enchant children and adults.

The musical features 25 world-class figure skaters – participants in the World and European Championships, winners and finalists of international competitions. They will also be joined by aerial gymnasts who will perform adrenaline-pumping acrobatic numbers high above the ice.

You can expect breathtaking choreography, challenging lifts, fast pirouettes, spectacular jumps, iconic “death spirals” and perfectly coordinated duets.
